Description
Fairly new traffic light put in over summer. When there is little traffic it is not needed; when there is a lot, traffic backs up on both Franklin St and on North Harvard past Western Ave intersection. Either fix timing or put on blink. It was better before the light went in.

The Public Works Department has reported to us this case was resolved on 11/22/2011 1:16 PM, noting:

A Boston Traffic Signal Inspector visited this location today and with the help of the Boston Traffic Management Center timing was adjusted. Since this location has loop detectors in the roadway North Harvard Street should not be delayed. Additional green time was given to North Harvard Street the Boston Traffic Mangement Center believes that ths adjustment will alleviate some of your issues.
